HERMETIC DELIGHT, BBCC, PAUWELS, HASSAN K, KEVIN DIESEL + CESAR PALACE

𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. A fizzy name that melts in your mouth, oscillating between post-punk intensity and melodic loops, just like the band's music, delightful, rather than hermetic.

Although the last decade had gotten us acquainted with the band through their sombrely clad EPs and the nighttime landscapes they depicted, Hermetic Delight's new album, F.A. Cult, lets the light in and summons decidedly pop analogies that bring them closer to Chromatics or to Goldfrapp

Mixing guitars and machines, psychedelic tendencies and experimental ardour, BBCC (led by Adrien Moerlen of feu Crocodiles Inc.) takes us between the comatose rock of Death In Vegas, the furious pop of Animal Collective and the degenerate electro of Dan Deacon or Zombie Zombie.

Choosing a writer's name for a music without words, without palaver, arouses its share of mystery. This apparent paradox takes on its meaning through Pauwels' particular configuration: a set of machines at the heart of the rhythm, to which are added a bass and two guitars that weave a story, and draw landscapes. An esoteric musical construction, built to be deconstructed. A communion with the audience, in a search for a shared trance. Pauwels cultivates the unexpected.

Hassan K is a mystical one man band from Persia. DIY artist, Hassan mixes folklore and new technologies, occident and orient, surf music and bellydance, swing and heavy metal… in crazy live acts, not too far from transe.
With a guitar, a keyboard and a few sensors, he travels from the west kingdom to the Turan, spreading the words of his illuminated ancestors…

KEVIN DIESEL is Florian Borojevic's 3rd project. This is also the introduction of his first solo project, purely electronic (while playing guitar in his previous bands.)

Though the differences in many ways, this project has the weight of what he’s been seeking in those last bands. You'll find, in another way, the right-angled shifts of PARTOUT PARTOUT, the craze for dance of 100%CHEVALIER, his undisturbed intention to slip surprise into colloquial, to depart from common places towards forbidden areas.

Cesar Palace is Electric Electric, Colonie de vacances drummer's solo project. His intention is to release a minimalist, bewitching and sometimes dancing music. Rhythm is here melt with cold, dark, disturbing sounds.

Made with a wide range of effects pedals and electro kicks in addition with an acoustic drum set, CESAR PALACE spreads a clash of pure rhythm and cosmic drone, sometimes dancing, sometimes transcendent.
