CHAMPIONNE

POP - COLDWAVE

Championne delivers a musical punch that doesn’t waste time with frills. With razor-sharp lyrics and melodies that hook you from the first listen, the Breton musician takes you on a whirlwind ride where post-punk collides with devilishly catchy pop. Her tracks, oscillating between explosive energy and dark undertones, turn pain into cathartic release. On stage, backed by four rock-solid musicians, Championne unleashes a visceral, organic set that hits you right in the feels. It’s raw, it’s intense, and it sticks with you long after the last note fades.

TIOKLU

HALLUCINATED POP

Tioklu (ex-T/O) plays with musical conventions like a cat with a ball of wool. With The Electric Soup, Théo Cloux, leading figure of the second generation of signings from the October Tone label, immerses us in a universe where lo-fi pop, krautrock, dub, and sequenced music mix to create a unique sound experience. But it is on stage that his wizardry takes on its full dimension. His joyfully hypnotic concerts transform each piece into a sensory journey, immersing the audience in his creative whirlwind. Dizzying, creamy, and always, always invigorating.

AMOR BLITZ

FRENCH INDIE // PSYCHEDELIC POP

Amor Blitz, led by Emmanuel Szczygiel, flirts with the boundaries between imagination and reality with insatiable melodic pop. As a sound alchemist well known to our services, Emmanuel weaves refined melodies which he dynamites with joyful freedom, creating a bubble where each note is a surprise. Carried by poetic writing, the harmonies flourish between psychedelic flights and orchestral arrangements. His voice, slightly detached, mixes with the guitars, evoking the elegance, subtlety, and even the familiarity of a good French film, and each piece becomes a quest towards beauty, where the imagination takes precedence over reality. . Like Hermetic Delight, their comrades in arms, Amor Blitz is one of the label's first signings and continues to delight the stage with an approach as pure as it is captivating.

BBCC

POPCORN ROCK // TV MUSIC

BBCC (or Bangbangcockcock but Google's fault), like Joy Division evolving into New Order, has transformed into a synthetic rock opera. Their sound is a true musical kaleidoscope, where new wave, krautrock, and even waltz mix with futuristic sounds. Imagine a David Byrne from the future, transported to 1040 to compose an album with Devo: that’s the sound universe of BBCC. Their music oscillates between technological trance and great stylistic deviations, creating a deluge of sound that is both hypnotic and disconcerting. And on stage? Ah, we don't want to make them get too big-headed, but BBCC is the art of shaking up conventions, a headlong rush that leaves you speechless. And completely addicted.

HOLY HOUR

CATGAZE

In constant expansion, the ricocheting guitars of Holy Hour weave an ocean of sound. Enchanting and wild, they blend into one another, engulfing the listener in the textures they create. Amidst the fog, frenetic drum rhythms and the roar of the bass lurk. Navigating through this sweet chaos, they guide those lost in the reflections on the surface, slowly pulling them deeper. It's a slow, inevitable descent, given meaning by the vocals. This infinity, which might seem filled with hope, is actually a call to resignation – to find beauty in a desolate landscape, and to embrace duality.

HUNAY SADAY

UK TECHNO

A photographer, filmmaker, and DJ from Strasbourg, Hunay Saday began her artistic journey with analog photography. The medium allowed her to express the homesickness she’s felt since being forced to leave Azerbaijan in 2011. Her dive into electronic music started when she arrived in Strasbourg. She incorporates a wide range of genres, with a particular fondness for breaks, percussive sounds, and UK techno. The young DJ skillfully weaves together electronic rhythms, evoking the percussive beats she remembers from Azerbaijani weddings in her childhood.

LE GEANT KARAOKE

To kick off the October Tone Parties, get ready to raise your voice! A well-curated selection of songs, quirky hosts, and a shower of glitter – everyone’s invited to step up on stage, whether it’s to sing solo, join the chorus, or simply dance and have fun. This giant, one-of-a-kind karaoke promises plenty of surprises, making it the perfect way to launch the festival in a wild and friendly atmosphere.
