Shoegaze
Sometimes Pierre has difficulty with words, so he gets out his guitar. Fiizy was born in August 2023, when Matisse, Marius and Maxence joined him in his passion for the bewitching layers of shoegaze. The brief was to bring together the soaring ambience of ambient with the ethereal textures of shoegaze, the polished drums of trip hop and the contrasting sounds of alternative rock. Their passion for the ‘wall of sound’ aesthetic is expressed in a power trio eager to look down their shoes at illegal decibel levels.
Post-punk
A poetic microcosm in the middle of a burning world. A chimerical duo tinted with distorted, ethereal electric guitars intertwined with an expressive, powerful female voice. Saturation, darkness and softness: sweet madness. An atmosphere that is both powerful and intimate, expressing a way of seeing the world.
