Krautrock Brain Dance // October Tone records x SK records
On a launch path pointed towards the sky punctuated by sporadic and delicate sound deflagrations, Monotrophy is a delirious roller coaster, stretched towards the krautrock and refined with noise-rock blows
The guitar drones blend into a minimalist rhythm. We cling to the constant escalation of the same motif, gradually transformed into a sneaky volley.
Let's go to the trance
Gathered around a common love for high volume noisy music, the duo, composed of Paul Verwaerde (Larbador) and Julien Savoye (Torgnole), releases a new EP "Micas" on April 16, 2018 on October Tone Records (Strasbourg) and SK Records (Lyon).
MONOTROPHY shared the stage with LA JUNGLE, CIVIL CIVIC, TOTORRO, NOYADES, AUSTISTI, USÉ
best rock band every day in the shit // BORN BAD RECORDS
Project born from the collaboration between the Australian writer Nathan Roche stranded in Paris and three Frenchmen from Villejuif who thought they were Les Garcons de la plage. Everything will be explained in detail here: octbrt.one/backcabinmysteries
When it's not an absurd tour in Asia with the TOP 40 Chinese pop stars or pastiches from Marine Le Pen's campaign clips, THE UNDERGROUND CITY is:
a lot of lo-fi pop, a little hawaii, a lot of psyche, poetry, crazy lives and, finally, a good big stick to be beaten "with artists to whom nobody in the group feels connected."
Analogic Krautnoise // WeWant2Wecord
There is no beginning of good biography, it is the proof that it is very good. We'll just say that it sends a heavy load and that we have to throw ourselves into it.
We can still tell you that it is the band that, last year after the cancellation in Paris of its concert with TRANS AM, traveled to the Roman's road for a very epic concert on the go the same day. Respect.
Kraut-trance-dub-express // SK Records
THE FOREIGN SOCIETY (Bermuda Triangle west of Lyon)
Legendary groove under surrealist sleep, between The Jesus Lizard and Ivory Madonna by UB40, to enjoy with an orangeade.
Grand cru pop // BuddyRecords x Montagne Sacrée
The meeting of underground ready to go into the light, inspired by Electrelane and the anorak and c86 twee-pop bands, all with a touch of trumpet.
Waiting for Ana has just released ten songs that will make lo-fi pop fans flock and bring tears from punks.
